Chevrolet Installing 4G LTE Internet Convenience To Its Vehicles – CES 2014

Chevrolet also known Chevy, The world renowned automobile manufacturer owned by American Corporation General Motors has became center of attention in CES 2014. The reason was its new designed vehicles for the upcoming year which will be equipped with fast speed 4G LTE internet. The company announced at CES 2014 show in Las Vegas on Sunday that it is bringing 4G LTE internet in the vehicles which will added to its OnStar infotainment system. People who have used 4G LTE on their smartphones will now be able to use the fast speed 4G LTE in their cars. This will give users a quicker access to mobile apps and services than over 3G connections. The new Chevy Cars infotainment system will come up with built-in Wi-FI hotspots, which will allow passengers to connect thier smartphones,, laptops and tablets to the fast speed 4G LTE. The speed of the internet will vary according to 2015 Chevy models like Corvette,Impala, Malibu and Volt. For other models, company will roll out the service later. This all new system is though a great partnership with AT&T, which is behind this 4G LTE internet in Chevy vehicles. Customers who use AT&T will be allowed to add a vehicle to thier existing mobile plan.

Chevrolet upcoming cars will be installed with 4G LTE internet

Mary Chan, president of GM’s global connected consumer department said in a press release,

“We know that our customers rely on being connected on a daily, if not hourly basis, and they expect to be provided with the information and content they desire with no interruptions,a 4G LTE hotspot that’s built into a car’s architecture will provide a more consistent and powerful Wi-Fi connection than a smartphone.”

So guys be ready to experience the upcoming new cars from Chevrolet equipped with fast speed 4G LTE internet.
